Sydney University Affinity Club Celebrates Fast-a-thon 08

Dragging along on a diet of approximately three hours of sleep and no food or water, we entered the old and battered room which was to be our Fast-a-thon venue for 2008. We knew it was going to be a long day. As we began cleaning and deporting tables of antiquity out of site, our backs broke; taking our spirits down with it.

Youth Gathers to Encounter

The final cluster of senior high students gathered at Shore High School on 24th of November where students from Muslim, Christian and Jewish backgrounds met to share their experiences of being an Australian with dual identity - being an Australian with a spiritual identity. The commitment of all the stakeholders for the fourth year has shown that this is a valuable ongoing program and not simply a fad.

Spirit of Service

A dream to break down religious and cultural barriers, to rise above such obstacles and to understand the spirit of serving, over 250 youth came together at the University of Western Sydney, Parramatta on Saturday, 14th June 2008.
